Packing Items on Pallets

If the pack method is to place items (logistic units) to be delivered on to pallets, different screens display on your RF scanner to cater for pallet packing.

  1. Once the job is selected and all items picked, the Add to Pallet screen displays.

    The items that are to be placed on the pallet are listed in the Unassigned Logistic Unit section.

  2. Tap PRINT LABEL to print a label for the pallet.

    You only need to do this if the pallet label has not already been printed.

    1. Enter the number of labels required.

    2. Tap Print.

  3. Attach the label to the pallet so that it is visible.

  4. There are 2 ways you can add the logistic unit to the pallet

    1. Scan the pallet label.

    2. Scan the barcode of the logistic unit that is to be added to the pallet

    1. Tap the logistic unit that is listed in the Unassigned Logistic Units section.

    2. You are then prompted to confirm the addition of the logistic unit to the pallet.

    3. Tap Yes.

      Pallet barcode is visible in the top section of the screen.

  5. Place the item on the pallet.

  6. Continue to place other logistic units on to the pallet, as needed.

  7. Tap COMPLETE JOB.

  8. When you have finished adding all logistic units to the pallet, the Freight Questions screen displays.

    Select the pallet type.

    1. Select the appropriate Pallet Type.

      The Pallet Count number is automatically filled.

  9. When you have finished the pack job, tap COMPLETE JOB.

    If a logistic unit needs to be removed from the pallet for any reason, tap MENU to select Unpack Items. Scan the logistic unit(s) that need to be removed from the pallet. Physically take the logistic unit off the pallet.
