Licensing
.wms payments are based on subscription licensing. You pay a recurring monthly fee to access your unique .wms instance which includes automatic updates, support and access to the latest features and functions.
Customers are invoiced on the first of each month for subscription services provided for the prior month.
Standard payment terms are invoice plus 14 days.
Thomax standard billing is based on the number of device licenses used in each month at your warehouse.
Subscription services are provided and billed any time a device is registered, subject to the minimum billing increment.
Each device license is inherently tied to an identifiable warehouse location. It is this warehouse location that is the general starting point for the location of applicability for sales tax.
Devices are packing stations / scanners registered within .wms. .wms communicates with devices such as scanners to process warehouse functions. Scanners can be fixed or handheld and include robotics. Printers are not scanners. The Thomax billing system treats a scanner as a unique combination of a device type and serial number.
A month is a calendar month of ordinary business hours.
The system bills in increments down to 1/10th of a month (i.e. 3 days), and includes the following exceptions:

when a device is added, a 20 minute grace period is allowed before billing starts. This is to cater for any incorrect data entries.

where a device is deleted and re-added within 72 hours, the device is billed as though it had not been removed.
