Packing

Once all items of an order have been picked, the items can be packed then dispatched.

You can establish rules around which items can be packed with others for your system. Contact the Thomax Service Desk for details.

Some warehouses have regulations to prevent staff from packing certain items together. Enabling the setting Packing.AfterIncrementCheckReport allows them to enforce this. The setting can be enabled for carton packing and picking to logistic units. A check is made on a carton after the item(s) is packed to establish if this packing should be allowed. This setting points to a report that requires a LogisticUnitID.

After each pack, this report is executed:

  • If this report returns any rows, it produces the first column as an error.

  • If the pack that occurred is allowed, the query returns no rows.
