  6. Enter the Zebra Programming Language in the ZPL pane, that is to be used to generate the label.

Sample code can be provided by the Thomax Service Desk.

You can have ZPL for more than one label in the ZPL pane. Use Next and Previous below the right pane, to view the generated labels.

Introduce a parameter to your ZPL, by framing the term between %. Highlight the term in the ZPL then press % on your keyboard for % to be added before and after the selected term.

For example: ^FT218,500^A0B,59,60^FH\^FD%ORDER%^FS. %ORDER% displays in the Parameters centre pane for you to enter a value.

Tip:  Duplicate labels cannot be entered.

  7. Enter the values for the required parameters in the Parameters centre pane.

The sample label on the right pane updates as you enter the parameter values.

Any errors are listed in the Warnings centre pane.

Clicking a listed error in the Warnings pane highlights the code in the ZPL pane so that you can correct the issue.

  8. Click Save.

The created label is saved to the database making it available for future use.

Tip:  You can automatically select a label using a GET parameter. This can be used to select a label template that has just been added.
