Adding a Numbering Sequence
You can configure a numbering pattern that will be used with tenants and carriers.

Log in to .wms webUI.

Click Settings on the top navigation bar then select Numbering Sequence from the drop-down menu.
The Settings - Numbering Sequences page displays.

Click Add Numbering Sequence.
The Create Numbering Sequence dialog box displays.

Complete the details for the new numbering sequence.
Field
Description
Sequence Name
Enter a unique and descriptive name for the numbering sequence.
Sequence Type
Enter one of the available sequence types as listed below.
Begin String
Optionally enter the prefix for the number that is generated.
End String
Optionally enter the suffix for the number that is generated.
First Number
Enter the first number in the sequence.
Final Number
Enter the last number in the sequence.
Zero Fill To Digits
Enter how many leading zeros to add to the beginning of the number
Check Digit
Select an option from the drop-down list.
For example, the check digit could be based on the GS1 standard or another pre-defined check digit standard that is being used.

Used to notify a customer of an upcoming delivery and may include an item listing.
Connote - consignment note
The connote number for the assigned carrier.
Connote Item
The connote article number for the assigned carrier.
EDI - Electronic Data Interchange

Hire Transfer Manifest

Manifest
Used to generate a list of the items included in the consignment. Often used by customers to verify the contents and whether any duties or taxes apply. It can also be used to identify if a shipment is to go by air or is restricted to ground or water transport.
Order
Used to number manual orders.
Use Shipping > Create Manual Shipment Order in .wms.
SSCC - Serial Shipping Container Code
Used to identify a logistics unit.
This becomes the ULD number in .wms.
Wave
Provide a picking slip number for a wave pick.
