Adding a Partner Location

You can create a partner location logistics environment for your distribution centres which cross-docks with an EDI.

  1. Log in to .wms webUI.

  2. Click Settings on the top navigation bar then select Partner Location Setup from the drop-down menu.

    The Settings - Partner Location Setup page displays.

  3. Click Add Location.

    The Create Partner Location dialog box displays.

  4. Complete the details for a new partner location.

    Field

    Description

    Tenant

    Select the appropriate tenant from the drop-down list.

    Internal Code

    Enter the customer code that is to be used by your internal system to refer to this location.

    Internal Parent Code

    Enter the code of the goods supplier that is to be used by your internal system to refer to the parent of this location.

    This is generally the head office code.

    Partner Code

    Enter the code that your trading partner's system uses to refer to this location.

    Location Name

    Enter the location where goods are to be delivered.

    This is normally the suburb.

    Location Address Line 1, 2, 3

    Enter the multiple addresses that occur for the location.

  5. Click Create.
