Managing Your Auto Waves

You are able to easily manage and edit various aspects of your auto wave rules so that you can make sure they are running at the days and times you want.

  1. Log in to .wms webUI.
  2. Click Shipping on the top navigation bar then select Auto Wave Management from the drop-down menu.

    The Auto Wave Management page displays.

  3. Select the appropriate Warehouse and Tenant from the respective drop-down list.

    The data table displays the auto wave rules associated with the warehouse(s) and tenant(s) you have selected.

  4. Find and select the auto wave rule you wish to change.

  5. In the Action column for the selected auto wave rule, click Edit Setup.

    The Edit Setup dialog box displays.

  6. Make your changes to the auto wave rule, as needed.

    Required fields are identified by an asterisk.

    Tip:  If Run Days and Run Times are blank (empty), the auto wave rule will not automatically run.

    Field

    Description

    Rule Name

    The auto wave rule must have a unique descriptive name.

    Warehouse

    Select the appropriate option from the drop-down list.

    Tenant

    Select the appropriate option from the drop-down list.

    Run Days

    Tick the checkboxes next to the days of the week that this auto wave rule will run.

    Run Times

    Enter the time in 12 hour format HH:MM with the last field being AM or PM.

    Or click to select the hour and minutes and whether it is AM or PM.

    Click to include another run time. For instance, you may wish to run the auto wave rule, twice a day - once in the morning then again in the afternoon.

    Or click next to a run time to remove it.

    Wave Pick Method

    Select the appropriate option from the drop-down list.

    ATP Type

    Select the appropriate Available To Promise option from the drop-down list.

    Min Orders

    Enter the number of minimum orders required for this auto wave rule.

    Max Weight

    Enter the number of maximum orders allowed for this auto wave rule.

    Max Weight

    Enter the maximum weight allowed for this auto wave rule.

    Max Cubic

    Enter the maximum cubic allowed for this auto wave rule.

    Max Units

    Enter the maximum number of units allowed for this auto wave rule.

    Comment

    Enter any other information or description for this auto wave rule.

    Wave Create Method

    Enter the wave method used.

    Printer

    Select the associated printer from the drop-down list.

    Wave Priority

    Enter a priority for this auto wave rule.

    The larger the number, the higher the priority.

    Wave Preferred Pick Zones

    Enter any preferred pick zones for this auto wave rule, separated by commas with no spaces between the different pick zones.

  7. Click Update.
