Adding to Your Address Book

Frequently used shipping addresses can be stored in the .wms address book. This makes filling in fields quicker and less prone to errors.

  1. Log in to .wms webUI.

  2. Click Shipping on the top navigation bar then select Address Book from the drop-down menu.

    The Shipping - Address Book page displays.

  3. Click Add Location.

    The Create Address Book Location dialog box displays.

  4. Complete the details for a new shipping address location.

    Most of the fields are self-explanatory. Only a few need to be explained.

    Field

    Description

    Tenant Name

    Select the appropriate tenant from the drop-down list, associated with the customer.

    Search Key

    Enter an abbreviation or short version of the customer's name that will be used as the search string to enable delivery and instructional fields to be automatically filled when creating a shipment.

    Default Special Instructions

    Enter delivery instructions that are required for all shipments for this customer.

    Default Warehouse Instructions

    Enter any instructions for the warehouse team that are required for all shipments for this customer.

  5. Click Create.
