Creating a Receipt

You can create an inbound receipt with expected item lines.

ENG 9246 A receipt will be blocked if the Stock.Block DuplicateSerials setting is enabled and there is more than one line with the expected serial number and when the line with the expected serial number has more than one quantity.

  1. Log in to .wms webUI.

  2. Click Receipting on the top navigation bar then select Create Manual Receipt from the drop-down menu.

    The Receipting - Create Manual Receipt Order page displays.

  3. Complete the details for the new receipt.

    Field

    Description

    Warehouse

    Select the appropriate option from the drop-down list.

    Tenant

    Select the appropriate option from the drop-down list.

    Shipment Number

    Enter the shipment number.

    Due Date

    Enter or select the date the order is due.

    Supplier Name

    Enter the supplier's name.

    This field only displays if the Receipting.CaptureSupplierName setting is enabled.

    This field only displays if the appropriate setting is enabled.

    Container Type

    Select the appropriate option from the drop-down list.

    Receipt Reference

    Enter a receipt reference identifier.

    Receipt Type

    Select the appropriate receipt type from the drop-down list.

  4. Add the stock items to the manual receipt order.

    1. In each Item Code cell, click in the cell then select an item from the drop-down list.

      The Item Description cell is automatically filled once the item code is selected.

    2. Enter the Quantity of the item required.
  5. Click Add Line or press F9 on your keyboard, to add more items to the manual receipt.

  6. To delete a stock item from the manual receipt, click Delete Line for a specific item on the order list.

  7. Click Create Order or press F10 on your keyboard to create the receipt.

    The receipt is now accessible on a RF scanner for receiving the stock.

    Once created, the shipment number displays at the top of your screen. Click the shipment number to view the receipt or make changes.
