Moving a ULD to a Different Bin

.wms records which ULDs are contained in each bin location. Bin locations in .wms are classified as bulk or picking locations. .wms treats stock in a bulk bin location as storage and typically items are not available to be picked from here. To fulfill orders using stock in a bulk bin location, the ULD containing the stock needs to be moved to a picking bin location. You can complete the stock move using a RF scanner.

Tip:  Use these instructions when you are moving the entire contents of a ULD from one location to another.

If you wish to move individual items from a ULD within a bin location, then you will do a ULD stock transfer.

  1. Log in to .wms Desktop.

  2. Click Additional Functions on the menu bar then select Location Move.

    The Location Move screen displays.

  3. Enter the current ULD Identifier.

  4. Enter the New Location for the ULD.

  5. Click Process Move.

  6. Click Yes to confirm.

  7. Close the Location Move screen.
