Merging ULDs

Depending on the configuration of .wms in your warehouse, it is possible to be able to merge another ULD into a bin location which already contains a different ULD.

You will need to decide which ULD is to remain identified with the bin location. The ULD that is merged, is in effect destroyed.

  1. Log in to .wms Desktop.

  2. Click Additional Functions on the menu bar then select Location Move.

    The Location Move screen displays.

  3. Scan the new ULD.

  4. Scan the bin location where the new ULD is to be located.

    A message pops up letting you know that there is already an existing ULD at this bin location.

  5. Confirm to continue with the merge.

    Another message pops up to ask which ULD will be the one that remains identified at this bin location.

  6. Click Process Move.

  7. Close the Location Move screen.
