Quarantining Items

As you are receipting items into your stock, you may notice that the item is damaged or broken. You can identify the item as such and then place it into your quarantine area to be returned to the supplier or dealt with according to your company policy.

  1. Log in to .wms Desktop.

  2. Click Receipting on the menu bar.

    The Receipting: Select screen displays.

  3. Enter or select a listed Shipment Number to start a receipting job.

  4. Click Begin Receipting.

    The Receipting: Multi ULD screen displays listing all the items on the receipt.

  5. As you scan each item of a receipting job, take notice if it is damaged or broken.

  6. Click Quarantine ULD (F3) on the menu bar of the Receipting: Multi ULD screen or press F3 on your keyboard.

    The Additional Data screen displays.

  7. Select a Quarantine Reason from the drop-down list.

  8. Click Continue.

  9. Place the item into your quarantine area.

  10. Continue with the receipting job.
