Delivering to a Customer

When you are at the customer's address, you will need to scan the QR code of each package as you deliver it to the customer. You will also need to get proof of delivery.

  1. Go to the .tms app on your mobile device.

  2. Tap Delivery on the navigation bar.

  3. Tap Tap To Deliver on the action bar.

  4. Tap a listed consignment to expand it and list all the associated consignment numbers.

    Tip:   ENG 8970 Consignments marked as futile can still be delivered, if needed. Futile consignments are highlighted in orange so you can easily identify them.

    If there are any special instructions for the delivery, they are listed on the screen. ENG 10922

  5. Then tap each consignment number to select it.

    A tick displays next to the consignment number.

  6. Tap Select on the action bar.

    The consignment is removed from your delivery list.

  7. Tap Complete Delivery on the action bar to display the next screen.

    Get the customer to sign as proof of delivery.

  8. Get proof of delivery.

    If the appropriate system parameters are enabled (dotTMS.TakePhotos.Delivery and dotTMS.TakePhotos.ForcePhoto.Delivery), multiple articles can now be captured on photos using a RF scanner during delivery. ENG 10925

  9. Complete the other deliveries on your list.
